Installation notes
-
Connect the LED load to the screw terminals under the removable cover, observing polarity (LED+ and LED–).
-
Incorrect wiring can damage the power supply and connected LEDs and is not covered by warranty.
-
Allow adequate air flow around the driver for free air cooling.
-
Indoor use only (IP20). Do not install in damp or wet locations.
-
Always follow local electrical regulations and, where required, have installation carried out by a licensed electrician.
Typical applications
Use the 40 W 12 V indoor transformer for:
-
Indoor LED strip lighting in retail, offices and commercial fitouts
-
Slim lightboxes and menu boards
-
Indoor LED signage and logo boxes
-
Under shelf, cabinet and display lighting in shops, bars and cafés
-
Small moving sign and display systems that require a 12 V constant voltage LED driver
For print and signage businesses, this is a go-to driver for powering 12 V LED modules behind acrylic panels, Eurotech lightboxes and small illuminated signs.

- We recommend the transformer power to be 20% higher than linked LED watt value
- Note, the colour of the print can effect final results
- Wires between modules should never be taut
- We suggest to also use glue along with the modules double sided tape
