Ready To Go Backing Sign Frame

Most large real estate and development signs still rely on fully fabricated frames. Steel is bought from a merchant, then cut, welded, ground and finished. That needs skilled labour, time in the workshop and often a separate fabricator. The Ready To Go Backing Sign Frame takes that entire step out.

This product is the backing frame only. It is built from 25 x 25 mm, 1.6 mm wall steel tube, finished in black powder coat and sized around standard ACP sheet formats. You assemble the frame, fix your ACP panel and then attach the frame to your own posts or support structure.

On site, installers typically:

• Concrete 75 x 75 RHS posts into the ground

• Screw or bolt the Ready To Go Backing Frame to those posts

• For smaller signs, tek screw directly to star pickets

You get the look, stiffness and strength of a welded backing frame without having to weld a thing. Even a print-only shop or franchise that does not have in house fabrication can now deliver fully framed site signs that compete with big sign companies and fabricators.

Important: This is a backing frame only. Upright posts, legs, ground spikes and footings are not included.

All frames are designed to connect, allowing you to build larger formats with ease. Use the pre-drilled holes to bolt frames together.

For example, three 1220 × 1830 mm frames can be joined to create an 1830 × 3660 mm frame.

How It Is Used On Site

Typical installation workflow for Australian sign shops:

1. Set your posts or supports

   • Concrete 75 x 75 RHS posts into the ground, or

   • Drive star pickets for lighter or temporary installs, or

   • Use an existing steel frame or structure.

2. Assemble the backing frame
   Knock the Ready To Go Backing Sign Frame together with the supplied hardware, square it and tighten.

3. Fix the ACP panel
   Screw or rivet your ACP panel to the frame in the workshop or on site. Pre panelled frames reduce misalignment and visible fixings.

4. Attach to posts or supports
   Screw, bolt or weld the backing frame to your posts or support system using the pre drilled holes or by drilling new ones.

5. Plug unused holes
   Insert the plastic plugs into any unused side holes for a clean, finished look.
